For my 3rd university brief of first year I was asked to create a pattern to be used by the organisation UNESCO. I chose to create a pattern with the goal of being used on the busses they recently funded which tour the Jurassic coast.

I took inspiration from the inhabitants of the sea while also using all analogue materials such as gouache, coloured pencil and embroidery thread. This was to recreate the varying textures found in along the coast. I then took these pieces to procreate where I created this repeating pattern.
